Gem In Eye (Asian Rapper) is an independent artist from North Jersey. Born in Kochi, Japan. The rapper's family is from a Korean descendant. Raised in Fort Lee, N.J. (U.S.A) for 19 years. With an educational background, while boarding an upper-class Japanese University, He felt discriminated from Tokyo as the "Oriental Nationality." This led to becoming an Asian-American rapper in East-Coast US/Japan. Well known on Tokyo's MTV & Cultural Universal Festival in N.Y.C & TOKYO. All support throughout the years, A struggle of a 10 year spand. More international fans have yet to discover the reality of innovation & movement in the Asian English Culture. (Most are American) Not much has been revealed in Japan, concerning Oriental culture in Tokyo. Yet new-age OG's are motivated about releasing versitale art & music. Majority of the college students & exchange students, with an International education have the similar foundation. Gem in eye grabbed the MIC with the first CD "Friction of Life" (Demo) in 2002. 5 years later in 2007, an army of Artists -- MC'S / Singers / DJ's / Dancers - collaborated to start a N.Y.C / Tokyo Underground scene.
